This self paced course consists of 5 modules and the content centers on forest health issues such as insects, pathogens, weeds, and invasive species. Management solutions including prevention, pesticides, biological control, and more are discussed.
This online course has been reviewed and approved for 5.0 hours of Category 1-CF Continuing Forestry Education (CFE) credits, no partial credit has been approved. Anyone seeking CEU credits is expected to view all of the video material and/or avail themselves of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant alternatives and successfully complete the appropriate assessment quiz. Successful completion or attaining a passing score means answering correctly 4 out of 5 (80% correct) of the questions. Your CFE certificate will be awarded via email and your record of completion will be submitted to the SAF office for inclusion in their electronic database and a separate database will be kept at UGA for verification as needed. The fee for this 5-hour course is $150.00 and must be paid prior to receiving CFE renewal credits. Contact James Johnson (james.johnson26@uga.edu) for details.
