Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health
Located on UGA's Tifton campus, this outreach center is a partnership between Warnell and the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Its faculty and staff produce websites, mobile apps and publications focused on invasive species, forest health and integrated pest management.

Cohutta Fisheries Center
This 65-acre facility, located in Northwest Georgia, operates 36 ponds and five raceways with various demonstration and research projects, including experimental koi breeding, pond production of channel catfish, and recirculating sturgeon aquaculture. The facility also hosts school and youth groups throughout the year.

Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center
Located in Southeast Georgia outside of Savannah, this facility includes an indoor classroom, exhibit area with interactive displays about the history and habitat of the surrounding forest, hiking trails, and a catering kitchen. The center provides educational programming throughout the year for K-12 students as well as scouts and other organizations. The Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center is Tree Farm Certified.

Oconee Forest Park
This 60-acre natural area is nestled behind the UGA Intramural Fields in Athens. The property offers recreational, educational, and research opportunities while preserving its 100-year-old forest. Find miles of hiking and mountain biking trails among this oak-hickory forest, as well as other activities.

Thompson Mills Forest & State Arboretum
Located in Braselton, about 40 minutes outside of Athens, this 330-acre property was named in honor of the Thompson Mills community, a prominent agricultural center in the early 1900s. It serves as a teaching and research facility in dendrology, ecology, silviculture and forest biology.

Whitehall Forest
Covering about 840 acres in Clarke and Oconee counties, Whitehall Forest is located about 4 miles from downtown Athens. It's comprised of natural pine, planted pine, upland hardwood, and bottomland hardwood. It's home to several Warnell labs and federal offices, and it also serves as a demonstration, teaching, and research location. Whitehall Forest is Tree Farm Certified.
